The problem of hay fever is something so many people have to suffer in the Spring and on through the summer. When the flowers are in bloom and the air is filled with pollen the eyes of hay fever suffers show clearly how their bodies react badly to the pollen that is all around us.
One tip that might be worth a try is Nettle Tea. I know it sounds unlikely and extremely unappetizing but don’t knock it until you have tried it. People who do try it often find it helps relieve some of the symptoms of hayfever. There are lots of websites about food allergies and other differnet types of allergies where you can read more about the subject.
You can buy nettle tea in specialist stores and even in some supermarkets but you can also make your own from fresh nettle leaves. Take care to protect your hands throughout the process to avoid stings but simply cut a few nettle tips, wash them and then chop them finely and pour boiling water over them. Leave for an appropriate time, to suit your taste, and then treat as you would normal tea.
I prefer nettle tea as it is but you can add sugar and even milk if you so wish. Give it a try and see if it helps reduce hayfever symptoms.
